I have not found any other tools for converting Microsoft Visio Files to BPMN or BPMN files to Visio than the following one. Lucidchart is my favourite. You need a subscription there.

Draw.io is a free online diagramming tool that supports BPMN. While it doesn’t have a direct Visio import feature, you can manually recreate your Visio diagrams in Draw.io and then export them as BPMN.

For a free alternative to Visio, this is a great tool! Our company mostly uses Visio for process diagrams that are pretty in nature and given Microsoft’s licensing structure, it is a pretty hefty price to do so.
